About Me

In 2019, I projected that my algorithms would probably perform really well and beat the stock market. So I started publicly tracking my performance in 2019. I had an annualized return of about 37% in my retirement account over the last five years using my investment algorithms.

This blog is my attempt to document the ongoing journey and provide resources showing what I do. My methods are risky, and the future results are never certain. So please remember investing is risky and patience is crucial for long-term success! When in doubt take things slow! I really think my investment methods are perhaps the best chance for the average person to get better than market investment returns.

In 2019, I became pretty convinced that I had created an investment strategy that I could stick with and have a decent probability of above market returns. I didn’t have a large pile of money when I started, but I started investing about $37,000 in my Roth IRA using this method and started having the third party, collective2, track my progress publicly.

I then started investing my wife’s IRAs with the same strategy. Then I took a loan against my 401(k) so I could invest more. Then quit my job to work on this full time. Once I quit my job, I also moved my 401(k) to an IRA and started investing it using my strategy. At this point nearly all of our assets were being invested using my aggressive algorithm.

Seasoned investors know that not every year is going to be a winner. In 2022 I had a pretty rough year. Despite this I remained consistent because I trusted the work I was doing and the algorithms I had created. I am glad I did! Patience and consistency are some of the most underrated skills an investor needs.

I don’t know the future and can’t guarantee results, but if you want to see where this journey takes me you can track me with a delay for free! I you want to copy what I do you can also have your brokerage account setup to automatically copy my trades while you are at work, golfing, or doing whatever it is you like to do.

I am not your financial advisor and cannot give you personalized financial advice. So, I can’t say whether or not my strategies are a good fit for you. They are generally very risky, and if you don’t have the patience, the funds, the risk tolerance, or the time to remain consistent then they are not for you and you should probably just call up Vanguard as they are probably your next best option.

If you have any questions don’t hesitate to reach out or schedule a virtual meet and greet.

Thank you and have a wonderful day!
